Organisation Station

LOOK AT ME WITH A PROPER DIARY!!
Ok… so the title may have mislead you a bit. If you came here to see 10 different ways you can become the MOST ORGANISED person on this planet, you’ll be very disappointed.

Little old me keeps a DIARY!! That’s right!! All those years of telling myself ‘I’m gonna be more organised this year, I’m gonna write things down in a diary and I’m gonna be so good at life.’ has finally paid off! (ok, maybe not the good at life bit.)

When I say ‘Diary’ i don’t mean the ‘Dear Diary, today I woke up, brushed my teeth and then went to work’ type. I actually tried that and only lasted until January 2nd.
Honestly, keeping up to a Diary is one of the best things I could have done. I literally have the memory of a fish, whether that’s birthdays, plans, special occasions. I just don’t remember.
I’ll tell you that we’ll meet for a day out and then when the day comes i’ll be sat in bed thinking ‘I’m sure there’s something I’m meant to be doing today…’ while you’re sat waiting in a cafe wondering what has happened to me.
I got this diary for Christmas from my Nana and honestly, I love it. The weeks are spread out across both pages so there is plently of room to write your plans and expand on what it is you’re supposed to be doing that day.
There are also little pockets at the end of each month that I LOVE as you can put all of your important papers, payslips or tickets in there.
I use the note pages to write all of my ideas down. I hate it when you think of something really amazing like a video idea or a blog post and then you finally get some paper and BAM, it’s gone. What was I even thinking about?
I guess what I’m trying to say here is… you don’t need a wall calendar, a desk planner and 10000 apps on your phone to stay organised.
One simple little book can hold everything you really need to know about the month ahead.
I know it’s almost February but it’s not too late to start!! Plus, getting a diary now is better for your bank balance as they’re almost all in the sale ;) (thank me later.)

How cute are these Diaries?!
Do you keep a diary? How do you stay organised or has your New Years resolution already failed?!
I would love to hear your thoughts and tips on how I can do more to be… not so forgetful and lazy!
Lots of love,
Kirsty.

  1. I really want to be able to keep a diary, but it's one of those things that I always buy and never use. I have so much I want to do this year though, so perhaps I should get one and actually make it a goal to use it.

    1. You really should! Just always keep it in your bag and then you'll never forget to add things to it!
Honestly. it's one of the best things i've used :) Plus, when the end of the year comes you can look back through at all the fun things you've done over the year :)
