My Goals for February

It’s February already. The second month of the year. Wasn’t it Halloween like yesterday? I just can’t get my head around it…. (I also can’t get my head around the fact that it’s SO HARD to spell February.) 

Since January felt like one big blur of never leaving the house because I had no money… I’ve decided I’m going to set myself some goals for the month ahead. 


Be better with my money.
Okay, yeah. This is a big one. This is one I set myself for the whole year, never mind just this month. But I guess if I write it here, it kind of reiterates the fact that it’s something that I NEED TO DO!! 

Be better to myself. 
By this I mean stop eating so much crap and start doing some bloody walking! I have the worst diet in the world and I constantly feel terrible for it. Do yourself some good, Kirsty, eat a god damn salad. 

Drink more water.
(Links back to number 2.) I hate drinking water, i just hate it. It’s so bland and for some reason I always feel more thirsty after I drink it?! But I really need too because I’m constantly dehydrated. Sippy cup, here I come. 

USE ALL OF THOSE BODY CREAMS/BUTTERS/SCRUBS I OWN!!!
As much as I love having a huge stash of these, I always forget to use them! I get into the bath, relax and think ‘Oh shit, I’ve left them in the other room.’ Repeat this a few times a week and here I am with 100 body butters that haven’t even been opened.

Wake up earlier!
I want to wake up earlier to spend time getting ready. I’m so bad for this, I would much rather have that extra 15 minutes in bed and look like crap for the whole day. (This only really applies on weekdays when I have to be up for work.) But I do want to just get my lazy bum out of bed and make more of an effort with how I look for the day! 

Read my books! 
I was SO good for this in December/January. I opened a Goodreads account and I kept track of all of the books I am reading/want to read and I finished a fair few in the last couple of months! So I want to keep this up as I love being in my own little world with characters that I love. 

Improve on my photography.
Finally. a blog related one! I want to get better at my photography. I have such an amazing camera but I don’t honestly know how to get the best benefits from it! I like to believe that I’m OK at taking photos. But who want’s to be just OK? I wanna be great! 

Well, it looks like February is set out to be the month of change! It started off with a huge haircut change and hopefully if I stick with the goals above, I’ll see lots more positive changes happen.
